Stroll around the gold award winning and historic Nicholas Everitt Park on the banks of Oulton Broad and watch the boats sailing over the Broad. Feed the ducks (Hopefully from the proper food available from local business around the park!
Visit the free to enter Lowestoft museum containing many interesting items from the area, it is located in the centre of the park.
Visit the UK's only working two chamber sea lock which operates daily in season and is free to watch.
Oulton Broad is the gateway to the new Broads National Park Family, and getting afloat here is easy with a mix of river trips and boat hire. In addition, the Charity Sailability specialises in sailing for the disabled and the Water Sports Centre offers sailing and canoeing courses. Powerboat and Yacht racing can be seen weekly throughout the season.
Oulton Broad 'Mini Zoo' is a wonderful experience and is situated next to the car park. A great mix of coffee shops and restaurants open throughout the day and into the evening with a small selection of retail shops. Easy to visit by car, train or bus. Ample parking and mooring.
